It's Back to School Time It is hard to believe, but the summer is almost over. The time for beaches and amusement parks has come and gone for another year. It is back to school time again. That means it is also back to Sunday School time here at Pioneer. Sunday School will begin on September 13th. Our Sunday School teachers work hard preparing for class each week. The classes are always fun and exciting. Please plan to attend Sunday School this year. You will be glad you did.
The youth will meet during the 10:00 a.m. hour as they did last year. They will attend the worship service until after the children's sermon, and then go downstairs for Sunday School. We will be trying a new study this year. It is called One Room Sunday School. All ages will meet together, with different activities for each age group. Carol Hare and Bill Vocial will be teaching the class. During the fall we will be studying: September - Joseph October - Moses November - God Forms a People
Adult Sunday School The adult class will taught again this year by Karen Hanson. The adults will also be using a new study program this year. During the fall they will be studying the books of Joshua, Judges, Ezra, Nehemiah, Mark, First Peter, and Second Peter. The material looks very exciting. I encourage everyone to attend. The class will begin at 9:00 a.m. Child care will be provided. |
